Sensitive - The Untold Story
A 2015 documentary based on Dr. Elaine Aron’s groundbreaking research on high sensitivity—a temperament trait found in approximately 15–20% of people (and even in other species). The film explores how highly sensitive people (HSPs) process stimuli and emotions more deeply, making them more empathetic, creatively inclined, and also prone to overstimulation and burnout.
Featuring interviews with Dr. Aron herself, artist Alanis Morissette, and other researchers, the film explains key characteristics of high sensitivity—depth of processing, emotional responsiveness, being easily overwhelmed, and detecting subtleties.
